Website Terms & Conditions
The Caring Center of Wichita, LLC • 714 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67211 • 316-295-4800
Effective date: Nov. 1, 2026
These Website Terms & Conditions govern use of the public website at https://thecaringcenterofwichita.com/ (the “Website”), operated by The Caring Center of Wichita, LLC (“The Caring Center,” “we,” or “us”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. These terms apply to the Website, not to the separate patient-services, payment, treatment-consent, or clinical agreements that may govern care.
1. Educational information—not medical advice
Website information, including articles, descriptions of services, videos, resources, and testimonials, is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not a diagnosis, an individualized treatment recommendation, or a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice. Do not disregard or delay obtaining professional care because of information on the Website. Treatment decisions should be made with an appropriately qualified clinician.
2. No automatic provider–patient relationship
Viewing the Website, sending a message, requesting information, or downloading forms does not by itself establish a therapist–patient or other clinical relationship with The Caring Center. A treatment relationship begins only through the Center’s established intake and acceptance procedures. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee an appointment or acceptance for services.
3. Emergencies and urgent needs
The Website and its contact forms are not monitored as an emergency or crisis service. Do not use the Website to report an emergency or request urgent medical or mental health assistance. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, you may call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. For local crisis support in Sedgwick County, the COMCARE crisis line is listed as 316-660-7500. If you are an existing patient, follow the emergency instructions provided directly by your clinician or treatment team.
4. Contact forms and electronic communications
Website forms, email subscriptions, call-back requests, and links from online advertisements may be offered for general questions or appointment interest. Do not enter Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, detailed medical or substance-use information, or other sensitive information through ordinary public Website forms, unless the form is specifically identified and configured for secure clinical communication. Sending a general inquiry does not automatically enroll you in marketing or authorize the disclosure of health information to advertising companies. We may respond by telephone, email, or another appropriate method; delivery and response times are not guaranteed. Separate consent or authorization may be required for certain communications.
5. Accuracy and availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep Website information accurate and up to date, but information about services, availability, staff, insurance participation, eligibility, prices, and resources may change. Website content is not a promise that a specific service or treatment will be available or appropriate for an individual. Contact our office to confirm current information. We may update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue Website features without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
6. Testimonials and treatment outcomes
Any testimonials or patient stories reflect individual experiences, where shared with appropriate permission. They do not represent typical outcomes, promise a particular result, or guarantee that others will have similar experiences. Each person’s circumstances, treatment plan, and progress are different. The use of patient stories is subject to applicable privacy and consent requirements.
7. External websites and third-party content
The Website may link to or display third-party educational articles, resources, videos, maps, directories, appointment services, social-media content, and advertising or lead-generation tools. We may advertise through search, social, streaming media, or other channels and may link to services operated by independent providers. Their terms, accessibility features, and privacy practices may differ from ours. Mention of a third party or the presence of advertising does not automatically constitute an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or independent practices of third-party services to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless otherwise identified, original text, design elements, and other materials created for The Caring Center are owned by The Caring Center or used with permission. Certain photographs, illustrations, logos, and other assets may belong to licensors or third parties and remain subject to their licenses. You may view, print, or download reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial informational use, provided that you retain notices of ownership. Do not copy, republish, sell, modify, or redistribute protected content for commercial purposes without permission from the relevant rights holder.
9. Appropriate Website use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or associated systems; disrupt its operation; upload malicious code; scrape or harvest personal information without authorization; impersonate others; or use the Website for unlawful activity. We may take reasonable security measures to protect the Website and its users.
10. Privacy and patient records
Use of this Website is subject to the Website Privacy Policy, including information about potential cookies, analytics, advertising measurement, and email communications. The privacy practices governing patient records are described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices. We do not use Website Terms, cookie choices, or general Website submissions as a substitute for a valid consent or authorization required by HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, or applicable Kansas law. Nothing in these Terms waives any patient right provided by law.
11. Warranties and liability
The Website and its nonclinical content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the completeness of third-party information. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any patient’s rights, professional standard of care, or responsibilities arising from actual health care services.
12. Governing law and updates
To the extent permitted by law, issues concerning the use of this Website are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of Kansas. We may revise these terms when operations, technology, or legal requirements change. The effective date above indicates the version in effect. Continued use after revised terms are posted indicates acceptance of the revised Website Terms, where legally permissible.
